has been Practicing Cardiology for the past 20 years. After graduating from the Kerala university he did his post graduate training in internal medicine at CMC Ludhiana under Panjab university. Subse-Quently the Cardiology training was done at the Christian medical college Vellore from where he obrained the Doctor of medicine (DM) in Cardiology.
The career in Cardiology started at Wanless hospital Miraj where he served as as Associate professor and as the head of the department till 1999. |
his work involved the Management of emergency cases, Evaluation of Cardiac cases, Echo Cardiography Holter Monitoring.

Cardiac Catheterisation, pace maker implantation, interventional procedures like balloon valvotomies and coronary angloplasty and stent implantation. In this regard he had training at the George Town university Washington DC. USA and the Washington Cardic centre Washington DC USA. He also had been an attendee at various international conferences.
Dr. Jacob has been practicing in Dubai as a specialist cardiologist for the past 8 years. And currently the focus of interest is preventive Cardiology, evaluating and treating potential cardiac risk factors and preventing cardiac complications.
