Dr. Wsima Masoodi graduated from Government Medical College Srinagar, Kashmir in 1994. She received silver medal in Anatomy, ENT and Ob/Gyn. She has 9 years of experience in the field of Endocrinology. She is certified by American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Endocrinology Diabetes and Metabolism.

She completed a three year internal medicine residency program at State University of New York Buffalo Internal medicine program. She received several honors and awards during her training. Following that she completed a clinical endocrinology fellowship at the world renowned Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Los Angeles. During her fellowship she received extensive training in disease of pituitary gland and was involved in several research projects at the pituitary center under guidance of Dr Shlomo Melmed.
For past 7 years Dr Masoodi has been working at her own Endocrinolgy clinic and two local hospital in Los Angeles. She has been actively involved in teaching medical students in her office and participating in clinical trials. Dr Masoodi is certified by Endocrine society for thyroid ultrasound and ultrasound guided fine needle biopsy of thyroid. Dr Masoodi is a member of the Endocrine society, American Diabetes Association and American Association o Clinical Endocrinologists. Endocrinology is a passion for Dr Masoodi She believes in aggressive preventive measures and education especially with the growing epidemic of Diabetes.
